- Yogi Berra played in more world series games than any other Yankee catcher in history.
- Casey Stengel and Joe McCarthy have the most titles as managers.
- Mariano Rivera pitched in the most World Series games.
- New York at least have won two titles in each decade accept for the 1980's. That shows they can be pretty consistent.
- Jeter was the only player in history to be named All-Star Game MVP and and World Series MVP in the year 2000.
