Opening Day!

It's about that time for opening day! New York's season is about to begin and there are still questions looming for the young Bronx Bomber baseball team. The big one is definitely, will the Yankees be a high caliber team? At this point I would so most likely not this year, but I could be wrong.

Even though the Yankees were fairly dominant in spring training going 23 - 8, still most of the teams they faced didn't have all of there original starters in the whole game. This team will definitely be playoff ready within the next few years, but you never know they could surprise all of us this season. Either way New York will return stronger than last year for sure.

Don't forget to tune in this weekend as your New York Yankees kick off the season traveling to Tampa to take on the Rays. Game time will be at 1:10 p.m. on April 2nd, so don't miss out!

Early today there were eight Yankees players who went to Harlem earlier on today to celebrate Harlem Grown. They weren't the only famous people there being accompanied with Miss New York USA Serena Bucaj and the hip-hop group The Lox. 

For those of you who don't know what Harlem Grown, it is a nonprofit organisation that promotes balanced, healthy eating for underprivileged youth. This honestly my favorite part of the season, when players go out and help and give back to there community.
