After a long wait, New York is finally back in the win column! It was a spectacular night for the Yankees pulling out a 7 - 0 shutout. CC pitched seven innings not allowing one run. They are showing signs of life in them, especially with Sabathia on the mound. He has improved a lot coming off of last season.
"We needed one. It's just been a tough start to the season for us," Sabathia said. "Hopefully we can get on a little roll now."McCann came up big last night driving in three runs. All around it was improvement out of New York. They were able to get the job done and score whenever they needed. The Yankees have to build off of last nights game. Let's hope that they keep this rolling into tonight when Tanaka takes the mound against Gausman.
