- Back whenever New York was named the, "New York Highlanders," they played there first game on April 22nd, 1903, just a little over a month after they were approved into the American League, against Washington and ended up losing 3-1.

- On April 23rd, the day after the Highlanders recorded there first game in history, they recorded there first win in history of the New York franchise 7-2 against Washington.
- Harry Howell was the pitcher to record the win.
- April 30th the Highlanders won 6-2 in there inaugural home opener against Washington once again at Hilltop Park which was the Highlanders first baseball field in Manhattan.
Don't forget the first pitch is set to be around 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday. It's Masahiro and the Yankees vs. Keuchel and the Astros in a rematch from last year's postseason.
